An RCBO (Residual Current Breaker with Overcurrent protection) combines the functions of an RCD and MCB within a single protective device. This provides individual circuit protection against earth leakage, overload and short-circuit faults, helping prevent a fault on one RCBO-protected circuit from unnecessarily affecting other independently protected circuits.
