The Protego range includes bi-directional Type A RCBOs, designed to provide individual circuit protection while combining the functions of an MCB and RCD within a single protective device.
Protego RCBOs use a 1P+N configuration with switched line and neutral, providing double pole isolation. This makes the range particularly relevant for modern electrical installations where individual circuit protection and effective isolation are required.
Type A residual current protection is designed to detect AC residual currents and pulsating DC residual currents, making these RCBOs suitable for many modern electrical loads containing electronic components.
Available in a selection of current ratings, Protego RCBOs provide options for protecting different final circuits within compatible consumer units. When selecting an RCBO, check the required current rating, trip curve, residual current sensitivity and compatibility with the Protego consumer unit.
