Often referred to as LED strip lights, batten fittings provide a long, linear light source designed to distribute illumination across a wide area. They are widely used as a modern replacement for traditional fluorescent batten and tube fittings.
LED battens are suitable for a broad range of environments, including workshops, warehouses, garages, offices, schools, corridors, storerooms, utility areas and commercial premises where reliable general lighting is required.
Available options can include different lengths, wattages and lumen outputs, including popular 4ft, 5ft and 6ft formats. Depending on the product, additional features may include emergency operation, microwave sensors and selectable colour temperature or power settings.

When selecting an LED batten, consider the fitting length, lumen output, wattage, colour temperature, mounting position and required light level. Where fittings are installed in areas exposed to dust or moisture, check the specified IP rating and suitability for the environment.
For larger commercial and industrial spaces, the mounting height, fitting spacing and required illumination level should also be considered to determine the appropriate quantity and output of battens.
